Advocacy:  AAFP has endorsed the Collaborate in an Orderly and Cohesive Manner Act (H.R. 5218), which provides grants to primary care practices to implement the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), creates technical assistance centers for primary care practices, and funds studies on additional integration models. Expanding the use of the CoCM will help address current workforce shortages; increase access to MH/SUD treatment; improve outcomes and health equity; and reduce health care costs. Ask your members of Congress to support this legislation - speak out here!
