Our state is slowly reopening, and the daily reports of confirmed cases and deaths appears to be slowing. There is cautious optimism that we have passed the peak in our fight to protect our people from COVID-19 and overcome this public health crisis.
Meanwhile, I contemplate the role of Family Medicine in health equity and institutional racism, brought to light by current events around the world.
