New physicians are overwhelmed and pulled in many directions in their early years.  It may be hard to quantify all the incredible achievements of being a family physician.  Earning the Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians designation is a clear definition of a family physicians contributions, dedication and value to their health system and patients.  IAFP board member Rebecca Maddrell, MD, FAAFP will walk you through the process and offer tips on how to make it easy to earn your Degree of Fellow.  By presenting a clear, efficient and supportive pathway to submitting and completing the FAAFP application process, we are assisting members in defining and showcasing their value. Then you'll be ready to attend a convocation at AAFP FMX (September 24-28, Phoenix) or IL AFP Annual Meeting (November 9, Naperville).
